If the audience reacts well, the photo appears centrally on TV. But then something interesting happens. After seeing a particular phenomenon on the screen, viewers begin to recreate it. Slowly but surely this creates a vicious cycle of violence. Different groups begin to suspect each other. This leads to increased tension, paranoia and hatred.
